Average power (watts) = energy (kWh) × 1000 ÷ hours. So 10 kWh used over 5 hours is an average draw of 2,000 W.

Is this the same as peak power?
No — it is the average power over the period. Actual draw can spike higher or drop lower; this smooths it into a single average figure.
How do I convert kWh to watts?
Multiply kWh by 1000 to get watt-hours, then divide by the number of hours it was used.
What if I only know daily kWh?
