Saved calculator data

If you save a result or use the My Energy workspace, the calculator name, values, result, currency, and saved date are stored locally in your browser. This information is not uploaded to our servers, does not sync between devices, and is removed when you clear the site’s browser storage. We also store your selected currency and limited recent-calculator history so you can continue where you left off. If you choose “Use this rate in future calculators” on the state electricity-rate page, the selected rate and its label are also stored locally and applied to compatible calculators. You can clear that saved rate from the same page.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and calculators are useful. Depending on your consent choice and location, this may process page URLs, referrers, general device and browser information, approximate location, and interactions such as calculator or outbound product-link clicks. We do not send the numbers you type into calculator fields to Google Analytics.

Advertising, affiliate links & cookies

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ads and, where you consent, personalize them. Some product links are Amazon affiliate links; if you make a qualifying purchase after using one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, our site defaults consent-dependent advertising and analytics storage to off. When the site consent message is available, it lets you consent, decline, or manage individual options. You can also manage ad personalization in Google My Ad Center.
